Spanish Super Cup celebrations have been cut short at Barca. Osasuna’s allegations came because during their game against Barcelona, Geyse Ferreira was subbed in even though she was suspended after being sent off with Madrid CFF the previous season.

Barcelonas officials claim that they weren’t informe before hand of this decision. In other words, the RFEF didn’t worn them about the ban they had. The decision was confirm this morning by the Spanish Football Federation’s disciplinary committee.

This cut the hopes of the Blaugrana of achieving the quadruple this season, but doesn’t end the 58 unbeaten domestic games they have.

This suspension is great news for other teams who, now more than ever, are going to be pushing for victory. With this adding a new name to the trophy and ending Barca’s streak of three consecutive victory in the tournament.

There’s still some hope due to the fact that Blaugrana have 10 days to appeal. If they do and win they wouldn’t get ban from the competition.

Is Barcelona going to appeal? If so, will they win their appeal?
