Juventus are deducted 15 points over transfer dealings

Juventus were hit with a 25 points deduction for the current season thanks to an Italian soccer court that is currently investigating its transfer dealings.

Juve sat on the third position on the Series A, but thanks to this deduction the Italian team has been sent into mid-table. This means that as the table stand they are out of any European competition.

The prosecutor in charge of the case asked for a 9 points deduction, but was granted with a much bigger prize. This was granted after a hearing were that happened Friday, where they were looking into how Juve and other teams were dealing with their player transfers.

The team wasn’t the only one that was punished. Their former chairman Andrea Agnelli got a 24 month ban from holding office in Italian soccer and Fabio Paratici, former sports director was banned for 30 month.

Juve have denied this wrongdoing claims.
