Madrid won 2-5 with one of the most incredible comebacks we’ve seen this year.

The game started off with a good start for Liverpool as with just 4 minutes in Darwin Núñez scored. This was quickly followed by Mohamed Salah whom scored (14′). Many Liverpool fans were already celebrating as they thought this game was already over and Liverpool was going to emerge victorious.

Vinicius Junior had other things in mind. The youngster scored a banger in the 21st minute. This set the score 2-1, but Anfield was still hopeful. This hope didn’t last long as Alisson committed a terrific error while starting the play and Vinicius scored his second goal (36′).

All the faces in Anfield changed as the first half came to an end 2-2.

Just as the second half started Eder Militão found the back of the net (48′). This was not all as Karim Benzema scored two more goals (55′, 67′). Liverpool was trying to fight back, but Real Madrid didn’t let it happen.

The game ended 2-5 leaving Liverpool with a bad feeling about their upcoming game at Madrid.

Real has been the first team to score 5 goals as visitors in Anfield. Vinicius is the first player to score 5 goals against Liverpool in a European competition (outside the Premier League).
