England are Arnold Clark cup winners

England continue their now 29 unbeaten game streak winning over Belgium and with it becoming Arnold Clark cup champions.

England women's national soccer team celebrating after a goal

England dominated the Belgium team from start to end winning the game 6-1. This was just the cherry on top of an incredible tournament they had scoring 12 goals and only conceding 2.

Belgium didn’t offer much in attack other than the goal they scored. This goal came thanks to Elena Dhont. Where the team really shined was on the defensive side, but the real star was the goalkeeper Nicky Evrard. Even though she was scored 6 times she stopped many important plays the English were making.

England had many key players. One of them was Chloe Kelly who was an indisputable asset in the attack. As well, she won the Golden Boot of the tournament. In addition, we have Lauren James that won Player of the Tournament and is one of the most valuable players they have.

Although this is their 3rd trophy under Sarina Wiegman as manager, there are still things that can be improved by the team before the World Cup coming this summer. Their first match will be against Haiti on July 22.

How will they perform on the World Cup coming up? Tell us your thoughts in the comment section!
