El Barrio has become the first King’s League Champion
The first King’s League season has come to an end and El Barrio has conquered the first crown of the league.
Adri Contreras’ team managed to get their hands on the trophy of what many are calling the next big soccer league. With a Spotify Camp Nou at its maximum capacity, 92 522, register entries, the Final Four was a complete success.
Four teams entered into the field with the hope of winning the trophy. They all had to face two matches. Firstly the semifinals and secondly the final. All three game were played the same day one after the other.
The entire thing was a spectacle. Messi chants were heard from the fans, DJMariio celebrated with the “Siuuu”, but that’s not all. Tiago RZK and Cali preformed in between games and a Red Bull battle.
The four teams that made it to the final four:
- El Barrio
- Aniquiladores
- Sayans
- Los Troncos
The presidents of all four teams made their entrance in style. They came down with a helicopter and along came Gerard Pique with the trophy in his hands.
The final match was El Barrio against Aniquiladores. It was a fierce match between both team, but at the ende Aniquiladores couldn’t conquer it. Adri scored his first presidential penalty and proclaim his team champions with it.
Prizes
C. Ubón won the most valuable player and the tops scorer. M. Brionas was awarded as the best goalkeeper. Mantovani got MVP of the final.
This is just the first ever King’s League and so much hype has already been build around it. More things are expected for the next season, with a Queen’s League expected to arrive.
