Once again Gavi and Barcelona are in the eye of the storm

Yet another dispute revolves around FC Barcelona and this time we are back this Gavi and his contract situation. La Liga have stated that a judge overturned Barcelonas previous lawsuit decision.

This Monday La Liga has released a statement where they asure a court has reverted Gavi’s contract renewal. If true Barcelona could be facing some severs problems this upcoming summer.

If this happens Gavi will still be able to play for the main team as he still will form part of Barcelona’s Youth team. The bad news is the in the summer he will become a free agent. This backs the Catalan team to a corner as Gavi has become a key componente in this team.

What La Liga said reverted the decision if the fact that the team didn’t present some paperworks in time during the lawsuit.

Barca filed a lawsuit with the objective of having La Liga permite Gavi’s registration into the first team and his contract extension. He was able to be registered, but with his previous terms due to expire this upcoming summer. The young Spaniard now wears the number 6 in his back.

If the problem isn’t resolved before the summer window Gavi will essentially become a free agent. With Ronald Araujo’s terms still to be registered as well, it will bring more problems that what Barcelona already have.
