Rodrygo shines like a star on their way to the UCL semifinals

Rodrygo helps Real Madrid finish Chelsea in the Champions League quarterfinals. They won the match 0-2 (Agg 0-4).

Rodrygo showed everyone what he is capable of last night. He scored both goals for Real while playing one of the best matches of his life. He has 15 goals in the Champions League this season.

Los Blancos have passed to the semifinals of the UCL and are going to be facing the winner from Manchester City and Bayern Munich. With their appearance in this year’s semifinal round, Madrid is the only team to appear 32 times in the semifinals of the UCL.

Frank Lampard, Chelsea’s manager, came out with a shocking starting XI hoping to shock Real Madrid. It paid off as Los Blancos were being held off and Chelsea were having more chances to score. They given had the first real opportunity of the night, but unfortunately for them, it didn’t finish with a goal.

Chelsea kept knocking in Thibaut Courtois’ goal during the first half. Marc Cucurella, just before the end break, had a great chance, but it was saved by Courtois.

Rodrygo found the back of the net and reassured Real Madrid they were there to stay (58′). Chelsea knew all their opportunities went down the drain at that moment but kept pushing.

To decorate the cake even more, with 10 mins left, Rodrygo did it again and with brilliant teamwork managed to seal the match with a second goal (80′).
