Bayer Leverkusen won the DFB Pokal over Kaiserslautern 1-0 to secure the first double of their history and their fourth trophy.

The last time Leverkusen won the German Cup was in 1993. The wait for silverware was long, but the club has finally achieved it this year. The match at Berlin’s Olympiastadion, the stadium set to host the Euro 2024 final, sealed the season for Xabi’s side.
