Dortmund is off to Wembley after beating PSG in the UCL semifinal

Borussia Dortmund beat Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 in aggregate to get their well-deserved pass in the Champions League final.

The German side won the first leg in Dortmund last Wednesday 1-0 giving them the advantage coming to Paris. However, everyone knows that the tables can quickly turn during Champions League nights.

PSG came with both eyes on the target. Initially, they looked like the superior team but quickly faded into a more dormant state. The Black and Yellow side capitalized with a counterattack and extended their aggregated score to 2-0.

Even after hitting the crossbar four times, PSG could not score and saw an end to their UCL dream. This means that Kylian Mbappe, possibly in his last season with the club, won’t see the European glory with them.

On the other hand, Borussia will be facing either Real Madrid or Bayern Munich in the final at Wembley on June 1. This will be their third appearance in a UCL final, only winning it in 1997, being this one their first European final since 2013.

Borussia Dortmund are the clear underdogs of this edition but have overcome each of their difficult matches during the campaign. Now they need to wait until tomorrow to know who will be their last opponent after the second leg of the Madrid-Bayern clash.

Will Dortmund win the Champions League trophy at Wembley for the second time this season?
