Bayern came into this match with a one goal advantage thanks to their win in Paris 1-0. They still knew they had to play en even better game than last time to get the ticket for the next face of the Champions League. PSG came without Neymar, who is out due to an injury.

First Half

The first half started very back and forth between both teams. Marquinhos had to say god by to the game very early on since he was injured. Lionel Messi missed a great opportunity that was going to put the tables more favorable for PSG. Messi was stoped by Yann Sommer and the outstanding Bayern defense.

Once again PSG had, what can be said as the most clear chance of the night, after an error by Sommer. The shot was just stopped right in the line by De Ligt. Bayern also demonstrated a great offensive line in this half. On the other hand, Jamal Musiala and Alphonso Davies were giving everything to score the first goal.

Second Half

In the second half, Bayern Munich didn’t lost time to announce themselves with a play that was saved at the last second by Danilo. Not long after, Muller scored what many thought to be the first goal of the night, but was then ruled out due to offside.

After a terrible play by PSG in their side of the field Choupo-Moting was able to score the first goal for Bayern (61′). After the goal the Germans dominated the game. So it was a matter of time for the second goal to come and it did. With the help of a brilliant team play, and a great finish, Gantry scored the second goal (88′). However this only gave more drive to Bayern. The third goal was closer than the first of PSG after this point, but wasn’t found before the end of the game.

This victory (3-0 agg.) gave Bayern Munich the pass for the quarter finals of the Champions League.
