Memphis Depay set to leave Barcelona

The Dutch forward Memphis Depay currently playing for Barcelona is set to sign with Atletico Madrid, rising more than €4 million for the Catalan team. Memphis contract was set to expire this up coming summer and Barcelona showed no plans of resigning him. Even though, Atletico are really close to signing him so he could start playing at most this upcoming month.

The Dutch player was acquired by Barcelona from Manchester United with the hopes that he was going to become Barcelonas main striker. This wasn’t the case and Depay underdelivered for the Catalan team. He was quickly replace by player like Ansu Fati and hasn’t being seeing that much activity ever since.

Is Memphis doing the right thing by moving to Madrid?
