Dominican Republic are champions of the Caribbean series
The Dominican Republic have won their 22nd Caribbean Series crown completely dominating on the semifinal and the final.
They started with a rough tournament in the regular series where they classified with the last place available. The Tigres del Licey weren’t show all the skill they had showed during their home league, but things change after being classified to the semifinals.
In this stage they faced Mexico whom classified first in the regular series. The Dominicans won that game completely dominating the Mexicans form start to end. 8-3 was the scored after 9 entries.
Afterwards they faced the Venezuelans in the final. As with Mexico the Dominican looked superior from start to end and the scored board reflected it. This year the Tigres del Licey have won every tournament they have participated and in almost all phases they have dominated completely.
