Tom Brady retires “for good” from football

The 7 times Super Bowl champion, Tom Brady, is oficial retiring from American Football after 23 years as a professional NFL player.

He announced his retirement through his personal social media this past Wednesday.

“I’m retiring, for good” he said as he began speaking “I really thank you guys so much, to every single one of you, for supporting me. My family, my friend, my team mates, my competitors” he continued “Thank you guys for allowing me to live my absolute dream and I wouldn’t change a thing, love you all”

The New England Patriots’ legend had an incredible career. Won the Super Bowl 6 times with the Patriots and once with his current team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Tom Brady had previously retired last year but quickly changed his mind and played one last year with the Buccaneers. He manage to get his team into the playoff as he did in all previous seasons with them.

He is entitle to some of the biggest record in the NFL like:

  • All-time NFL records for regular-season wins (251)
  • Super Bowl appearances (10)
  • Playoff games and wins (48.35)
  • Playoff yards (13,400)
  • TDs (88)
