Denver Nuggets book a ticket to their first NBA Finals
Denver Nuggets swept Los Angeles Lakers 4-0 and won their first ticket to NBA Finals in franchise history.
The Denver Nuggets faced Los Angles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals to decide who was going to advance to the NBA Finals. The Nuggets have had one of the best seasons in their franchise history. za by Nikola Jokic they’ve advanced all the way to the Conference Final.
On the other hand, we have the Lakers who have had some rough times during the recent year but have finally found that spark that they were missing. With the help of Lebron James, they’ve beaten many teams to arrive at this conference final.
The Nuggets managed to defeat the Lakers 4-0. The last game was at the Crypto.com Arena and Denver won 113-111. Jokic had an incredible game scoring 30 points, 14 rebounds, and 13 assists. This is his eighth triple-double of the playoffs and with it became the player with the most triple-doubles in a postseason.
Lebron tried very hard to make the Lakers more competitive and get a game five at least. He managed to score 40 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists, however, this wasn’t enough to stop the Nuggets. Just in the last few minutes, James tried to tie things but the incredible defensive play by Denver stopped him.
Now, after 47 NBA seasons without the conference title, the Denver Nuggets are finally going to the NBA Finals. They will be facing either the Boston Celtics or Miami Heat (Miami leads 3-1 in that series) this June 1st.
