Kyrie Irving wants to be trade since the Brooklyn Nets don’t want to to sign a long-term contract with the NBA All Star.
Kyrie is looking for a team which is whiling to give him a a long-term deal. As of the moment 3 teams have said to be interested in signing him: Los Angeles Lakers, the Phenix Suns and the Dallas Mavericks.
Other teams have been reluctant to see his way due to his previous eight-game suspension.
Irving’s objective is to be trade before the NBA trade deadline this Thursday. If the Nets do so they will be loosing their first pick in the 2027 and 2029 drafts.
One of the biggest promoters for Kyrie Irving’s move to the Lakers is LeBron James. LeBron wants to be reunited with Kyrie and get the opportunity to play together again.
Something that has many teams on alert is what Kevin Durant will do now that Irving has announced his desire. Many suspect that he will not stay in the team if Kyrie Irving leaves the team.
This season, Kyrie has averaged 27.1 points, 5.3 assists and 5.1 rebounds per game. Even with this, Brooklyn is worried that he will not be preforming at this high level in up coming years.
