This past Sunday Novak Djokovic won the Australian Open for the 10th time in his career, beating Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Djokovic with his 10th AO trophy

With this victory, Djokovic tied Rafael Nadal on the most Grand Slam titles a man has won (22). Rafael Nadal saw an early exit of the tournament due to a hip injury.

The Serbian defeated with ease Tsitsipas in three straight sets: 6-3, 7-6 (4), 7-6 (5). The game lasted 2 hours and 56 minutes. The poor start from Stefanos was what really compromised him in the first set. He then caught on into the game and was able to even get Novak to two tiebreakers in the second and third set.

This wasn’t enough to win the final as Djokovic claimed the victory at the end.
