PSG have one feet out of the Champions League

PSG was overwhelmed by Bayern Munich for almost three-fourth of the match gaining a 0-1 victory in the first leg.

Messi looking down after PSG lost their first leg game to Bayern Munich

Paris saw one of the most terrific games they’ve played in their Champions League history. As locals, they were defeated 0-1.

The worst part of the match for them was the first half. During this time, Bayern showed a higher dominance of the game. PSG left this half with 0 shots. The Germans didn’t capitalized on this advantage on the first half as they didn’t score any of the shots they took. The players couldn’t find Neymar and Messi to provoke any damage.

Things change in the second half, as Bayern Munich scored thanks to Kingsley Coman (53′). The game continued to be dominated by them until the French made a key substitution. Kylian Mbappe was giving around 15 minutes of playing time after many thought he wouldn’t be able to play due to his injury during their game against Marseille. For the first time in all of the match PSG looked as if they had a chance to tie things. Mbappe had 2 goals disallowed by the VAR due to offside.

Bayern were able to defend their lead and are now going to Munich with an advantage of 1 goal. The Parisians need to play at their maximum if they want to beat the Germans.

Will PSG be able to beat Bayern on this upcoming March 8? How will this affect players like Messi who are looking for other clubs? Tell us in the comment section!
